DPR reports injury of four militiamen in new shelling incidents

DONETSK. April 13 (Interfax) - Four militiamen of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) have been hurt in the shelling of populated localities and the Donetsk airport, Eduard Basurin of the DPR Defense Ministry, told reporters on Monday.

"Spartak, Shyrokyne, Naberezhne, Zhabycheve and the Volvo Center have been attacked. Four servicemen are injured. Damage has been done to Donetsk, a hospital and a private house have been hit," he said.

Most attacks were conducted against the airport and Shyrokyne, Basurin added.

In his words, the journalists who came under fire on Sunday are alive.

"Both of them are alive. An anti-tank round was fired. One [journalist] is shell-shocked and the other is wounded. They work for a local media outlet, a camera man and a journalist from the Patriotic Forces of Donbas," Basurin said.
