Normandy Quartet foreign ministers call for implementation of all parts of Minsk deal for Ukraine - Lavrov

BERLIN. April 14 (Interfax) - Foreign ministers from Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France, which make up the Normandy Quartet, have reiterated the need to fully implement the peace agreements for Ukraine, reached at talks in the Belarusian capital Minsk in February, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.

"We also reaffirmed that the Minsk agreements should be implemented in full - not only their military part, but also their political, economic and humanitarian components," he told reporters after a Normandy format ministerial meeting in Berlin.

"The continuing economic blockade of Donbas is wrong and harmful. Social benefits and pensions are not being paid. This will be brought to notice in a statement that will be made today on behalf of the Normandy Quartet," Lavrov said.
