Russian lunar program to be implemented by upgraded Angara heavy lift rocket - Roscosmos chief

MOSCOW. April 14 (Interfax-AVN) - The Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) will be implementing its lunar program with the help of the upgraded Angara-5V space rocket, Roscosmos chief Igor Komarov told reporters on Tuesday.

"At this stage we have decided to implement the lunar program with the new Angara, A-5V, rocket that we are hoping to launch from Vostochny [cosmodrome] as early as 2024-2025," he said.
