Two oil fields discovered in Siberia by smaller companies

MOSCOW. April 16 (Interfax) - Two oil fields have been discovered in Siberia by smaller oil companies, a Natural Resources and Environment Ministry representative told Interfax.

Vneshtopprom LLC discovered the Alekseevskoye field in Khanty-Mansii autonomous district with 6.8 million tonnes of ABC1+C2 reserves. Following the discovery, Rosnedra issued the license to produce oil at the field to the company. The one-time payment for the license to Alekseevskoye field totals 55.1 million rubles.

Vneshtopprom is owned by four individuals: Alexander Semin (10%) and Tatyana Alekseeva (40%) (both Russian citizens), and Li Xiangjuan (30%) and Zhao Shaohong (20%) (both foreign citizens), according to the SPARK-Interfax database.

Nord-Ost Geo LLC discovered the Verkhne-Lumkoiskoye field in the Tyumen region in the course of geological exploration work. Reserves at the field total 4.52 million tonnes of ABC1+C2 oil. Rosnedra the production license to the field to Nord-Ost Geo on March 6. The one-time payment was 43.98 million rubles.

Nord-Ost Geo is part of Interoil, which in turn is owned by two companies registered in Belize.
