Belarusian leader to visit Georgia
TBILISI. April 17 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is expected to visit Georgia on April 23-24, a Georgian Foreign Ministry spokesman told reporters on Friday.
The idea of such a trip belongs to Minsk, he said.
Lukashenko told Georgian reporters on February that he planned to pay an official visit to Georgia to discuss bilateral relations.
During his visit, Lukashenko is expected to meet with Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili and Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili. He may also travel to Batumi to see the tourist attractions of Ajaria.
