DPR does not need another independence referendum - Zakharchenko
DONETSK. April 20 (Interfax) - A new referendum on independence of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) would be unnecessary, the DPR administration said.
"Why do so? We have already made our choice. We have declared our independence [at the May 11, 2014, referendum]. We may hold a referendum asking a different question but that would be another story," DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko told reporters on Monday.
