Donetsk Airport area shelled by heavy weapons again - official

DONETSK. April 20 (Interfax) - Shelling has resumed in the suburbs of Donetsk, cannonades are heard around the airport, said Ivan Prykhodko, the head of the administration for the Kuibyshevsky and Kyivsky districts.

"Shelling by heavy weapons near Donetsk Airport or the town of Vesyoloye can be heard again," he said, the Donetsk news agency said on Monday.

Earlier the OSCE (Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe) Special Monitoring Mission said that hotspots still exist in Donbas due to a failure to comply with one of the clauses of the Minsk agreement, the removal of heavy weaponry from the contact line.
