Russian nationalists get long prison terms for murders
MOSCOW. April 21 (Interfax) - The Moscow Region Court has given terms ranging from 24 years in prison to life sentences to three members of the so-called Combat Organization of Russian Nationalists (BORN), who were earlier convicted by a jury of ethnic murders and other crimes, an Interfax correspondent reported.
Maxim Baklagin and Vyacheslav Isayev, who were found guilty of killing Moscow City Court judge Eduard Chuvashov, received life sentences in a high-security prison. The third defendant, Mikhail Volkov, was sentenced to 24 years in prison.
The fourth man, Yury Tikhomirov, was acquitted.
