Lavrov doubts U.S. can thwart compliance with Minsk accords for long

MOSCOW. April 22 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov thinks that the United States will not succeed in trying to impede the process of implementing the Minsk agreements for a long period of time, as the situation in Ukraine is fairly unstable.

"I am afraid they won't succeed, not for ten years, not even two, because Ukraine is in an very fragile state," he said in an interview with three radio stations, commenting on claims that Washington is capable of stalling the Minsk process for as long as it needs to.
