Kyrgyz PM Otorbayev announces his resignation

BISHKEK. April 23 (Interfax) - Joomart Otorbayev announced his resignation from the post of Kyrgyzstan's prime minister at a parliamentary session on Thursday.

"I am resigning voluntarily," he said.

Under the Kyrgyz constitution, this step may lead to the dismissal of the entire government and the collapse of the country's ruling coalition.
