Mosenergosbyt RAS net profit drops 63% to 305 mln rubles
MOSCOW. April 24 (Interfax) - Mosenergosbyt posted a net profit of 305 million rubles in Q1 2015, 63% less than in the same period last year, the company said in its Russian accounting standards (RAS) earnings statement.
For Q1 2014 the company's net profit was 823.5 million rubles.
Pretax profit fell during the reporting period by 60% to 432.3 million rubles, and operating profit fell by 50% to 476 million rubles.
The company's revenue in Q1 2015 rose by 0.7% to 67.6 billion rubles, of which revenue from power sales accounted for 67.2 billion rubles (+0.7%). The cost of sales rose by 0.6% to 23.1 billion rubles, gross profit rose 0.8% to 44.5 billion rubles.
Mosenergosbyt is power suppler of last resort to Moscow and its environs. Inter RAO owns a 71.48% stake.
