OSCE ODIHR mission to present final report on Kazakh elections in about two months

ASTANA. April 27 (Interfax) - The OSCE ODIHR mission intends to present its final report on the April 26 presidential elections in Kazakhstan.

The final report, which will also include recommendations on assistance to Kazakhstan in resolving some of the issues identified, will be presented in about eight weeks, Cornelia Jonker, the head of the OSCE ODIHR Election Monitoring Mission (EOM), told a briefing in Astana on Monday.

Jonker said it is the purpose of election monitoring work of the OSCE ODIHR EOM to help countries improve their election processes.
