EuroChem, Migao venture to launch second NPK fertilizer line in China in 2015
MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax) - EuroChem Migao, a joint venture between Russian fertilizer producer EuroChem and Chinese potassium fertilizer producer Migao Corporation, will launch the second phase of production of NPK compound fertilizer with annual capacity of 100,000 tonnes and potassium nitrate with capacity of 60,000 tonnes in 2015, EuroChem said in its annual report.
The first phase has capacity to produce 100,000 tonnes of NPK fertilizer per year.
EuroChem Migao was formed in 2014. Migao Corp produces and sells specialized potassium fertilizer (potassium nitrate, potassium sulfate), compound fertilizer and associated products. The company has eight plants in China with combined capacity to produce 620,000 tonnes of fertilizer annually.
