Progress M-27M spinning uncontrollably - source

MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax-AVN) - The Progress M-27M supply ship is spinning uncontrollably, a space industry source told Interfax-AVN.

"Videos received from the supply ship indicate that it is spinning intensely. Mission Control has issued a stabilization command, but it is not yet clear whether it has had any effect," the source said.

The spacecraft has done five circles after launch.

"During subsequent circles the supply ship will not be within range of land radar. The next contact with it will only be possible in the second half of the night on April 29," he said.
