Russian Justice Ministry revokes registration of Navalny's Progress Party

MOSCOW. April 28 (Interfax) - The Party of Progress led by the opposition activist Alexei Navalny has been stripped of its state registration following a decision by the Russian Justice Ministry, a ministry spokesperson said on Tuesday.

"The Russian Justice Ministry has decided to acknowledge the document of state registration of the political party 'Party of Progress' as being no longer valid and to remove the information about it and its structural units from the register of legal entities," the spokesperson said.
