Lukashenko claims he and Putin discuss problems man to man
MINSK. April 29 (Interfax) - The presidents of Belarus and Russia observe the principle of a non-public relationship, Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said in his address to the nation and National Assembly in Minsk on Wednesday.
"We have agreed with the Russian president about the non-public nature of our relations, and we stick to this course. If he is not happy about something, he tells me about it like a man. Like a man, you know what it means. And I speak to him likewise," Lukashenko said.
The Belarusian and Russian leaders discuss pressing issues concerning the countries' relationship in a trustworthy format, the president said.
"We simply have an amicable discussion of problems that arise," Lukashenko said.
