Directive on extending Sechin's tenure as Rosneft CEO submitted to govt - Property Agency

MOSCOW. April 29 (Interfax) - The directive on extending Igor Sechin's tenure as CEO of Rosneft has been submitted to the government, Rosimushchestvo chief Olga Dergunova told journalists.

"As of today, all of the contracts with the general directors and presidents of the companies we are unifying and acting in strict accordance with the charter. In the majority of charters of all the state companies, this is a term of up to five years," she said when asked by how much Sechin's tenure would be extended.

Sechin was appointed head of Rosneft in May 2012. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed the relevant order. Eduard Khudainatov was the company's president before that.
