Acron posts RAS net profit of 3.8 bln rubles in Q1 against losses year earlier

MOSCOW. April 30 (Interfax) - The net profit of OJSC Acron to Russian Accounting Standards (RAS) in Q1 2015 was 3.775 billion rubles against net losses of 2.842 billion rubles in the same period of last year, the company said in a statement.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 180% to 7.796 billion rubles.

EBITDA margin was 53% against 32% a year earlier.

Revenue was 14.71 billion rubles, which is 68% more than in Q1 2014.

Cost of sales rose by 14% year-on-year to 5.7 billion rubles. Gross profit rose 130% to 9 billion rubles.

Operating profit rose 190% to 7.495 billion rubles. Pretax profit rose 38% to 4.8 billion rubles.

Long-term liabilities of the company at the end of Q1 amounted to 65.6 billion rubles against 35.47 billion rubles at the end of 2014. Short-term liabilities fell by 43% to 29.17 billion rubles.
