Civilian woman killed by militia fire in Luhansk region - Ukrainian govt forces

KYIV. May 2 (Interfax) - A woman was killed as the militia shelled an area near the Proletarska coalmine in the Luhansk region, the headquarters of the Ukrainian government forces' operation in Donbas reports.

"An elderly woman received a severe injury and died in a vegetable garden near her home" after the militia fired four antitank guided missiles upon an area near the coalmine between 2:30 p.m. and 2:35 p.m. on Saturday, it said.

It was reported earlier that the village of Novotoshkivka, the Popasna district, was shelled by tanks and mortars on May 2.
