Quality of agreement on Iran nuclear program more important than artificial deadline - Lavrov

MOSCOW. May 5 (Interfax) - Moscow does not see any reason for extending the talks on Iran's nuclear program beyond June 30 but is ready to accept such a decision if needed.

"I have no reasons to make any forecasts now that the deadline set for June 30 by the Sextet and Iran will have to be extended. But if such a need arises we will give priority to the quality of the agreement, not to any artificial deadline," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a press conference after talks with his Austrian counterpart on Tuesday.
