RZD places restrictions on ore loading for shipments to China through Zabaikalsk

MOSCOW. May 6 (Interfax) - Russian Railways (RZD) has placed restrictions on ore loading to China through the Zabaikalsk-Manzhouli border crossing, RZD said in a telegram.

The restriction was introduced after Chinese railways did not admit wagons carrying the ore. RZD's move also stems from excess cargo and stopped trains.

RZD also said that the restrictions went into effect on May 1 and will last until the company decides to cancel them.
