Bodies of 2 missing Russian diplomats found in Nepal - embassy

MOSCOW. May 7 (Interfax) - The bodies of two diplomats from the Russian Embassy to Pakistan have been found in Nepal, after they went missing following the recent earthquake in the country, Azret Botashev, the press attache of the Russian Embassy to Nepal, said in a telephone interview with Interfax.

"Yes, these are our diplomats, workers of our Embassy to Pakistan," Botashev said.

"The bodies have been found in the mountainous village of Lantang," Botashev said.

"It looks like they died during the first tremor on April 25. This was followed by a heavy rock fall, and this village was almost entirely buried by rocks," he said.
