Court: Charge against Vasilyeva in Oboronservice case unproven by case materials
MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - The Moscow Presnensky Court has decided that the charge against Yevgenia Vasilyeva, the key defendant in the Oboronservice case, and her accomplices of inflicting damage on the state worth two billion rubles is not proven by the case materials, an Interfax correspondent has reported, citing a verdict read by Justice Tatyana Vasyuchenko on Friday.
The investigators' conclusions are based on the results of the expert evaluation of one of the episodes of the sale of Defense Ministry property. "The court cannot find the experts' conclusions to be substantiated," the verdict says.
