Kazakhstan's gold, FX reserves down 0.2% in April, 3.7% in 4M
ASTANA. May 8 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's gold and foreign exchange reserves, including the National Bank's gross reserves and funds accumulated in the National Fund, fell 0.2% in April and 3.7% in January-April 2015 to $98.686 billion, the National Bank said in a statement.
The assets of the National Fund were $69.949 billion as at May 1, up 0.3% from a month earlier but down 4.9% since January 1.
Gross international reserves of the National Bank fell in April by 1.3% to $28.737 billion and fell 0.6% in 4M. FX reserves fell 1.4% in April and 0.01% in 4M to $27.964 billion, while gold assets grew 3.4% and 5.16% to $7.777 billion.
The National Bank's net international reserves fell 1.4% in April and 0.01% in 4M to $27.964 billion.
