Russia, China to hold Cross Year of mass media in 2016-2017 - Putin

MOSCOW. May 8 (Interfax) - Russia and China have agreed to conduct Cross Years of mass media in 2016 and 2017, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"We are expecting to conduct the Years of Russian and Chinese mass media in 2016 and in 2017," he told a pres conference after talks with the Chinese president on Friday.

He also said that the two countries are planning over 200 joint events as part of youth exchanges in 2015.
