Kerry arrives in Sochi - U.S. Embassy in Russia
WASHINGTON/MOSCOW. May 12 (Interfax) - U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has arrived in the Russian Black Sea resort of Sochi, the U.S. Embassy in Russia reported on Tuesday.
"Here we go! #KerryinSochi," U.S. Embassy spokesman Will Stevens has tweeted.
It is Kerry's first visit to Russia in two years.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier that the agenda for Tuesday's meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry would be as "broad as possible", and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov would also attend this meeting.
