Russia would be pleased to see Greek PM at Petersburg economic forum - Peskov

SOCHI. May 12 (Interfax) - The Russian authorities would be pleased to see Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, but his attendance has not been confirmed officially so far, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Tuesday.

"So far, no final confirmation [of Tsipras's visit to St. Petersburg] has been received. As soon as the Greek side officially confirms this, we will be able to begin making arrangements," he said.

"Naturally, we will be pleased to see Greek representatives and Prime Minister Tsipras at the Petersburg forum," he added.
