Soyuz landing postponed till early June - Roscosmos
MOSCOW. May 12 (Interfax-AVN) - Landing of the Soyuz manned spacecraft would be inexpedient just yet, says Vladimir Solovyov, the head of the Russian segment of the International Space Station (ISS).
"We were to land the Soyuz spacecraft after tomorrow. We have concluded that this landing would be inexpedient," he told a press conference in Moscow on Tuesday.
The cosmonauts currently in orbit were asked to work on board the ISS for another month, he said. "Naturally, they were very understanding and agreed to work for about one more month," Solovyov said.
He also said that the Soyuz landing is due to be effected at the beginning of this July.
