Kerry to tell Poroshenko about outcomes of talks with Putin

SOCHI. May 12 (Interfax) - U.S. State Secretary John Kerry is planning to phone Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko to tell him about the outcomes of the Sochi talks with Russian leader, Vladimir Putin, and call for the Minsk agreements to be implemented.

Kerry told a press conference after talks in Sochi that he had a brief conversation with Poroshenko yesterday. He said he is going to telephone him again to tell about today's meeting with Putin and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. He said he urges Poroshenko, like he does Russia, to fully implement the Minsk accords.

Kerry also pointed out that no full ceasefire has been achieved in southeastern Ukraine, contrary to the requirements of the Minsk agreements.

We are going to cooperate with all sides to secure implementation of these agreements, he said.
