Shyrokyne, Horlivka, Donetsk Airport remain Donbas hotspots - OSCE

KYIV. May 13 (Interfax) - The Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) has acknowledged the continued tense situation near Donetsk Airport, Shyrokyne and Horlivka in eastern Ukraine.

Speaking at a Wednesday presentation of the mission's thematic report on the protection of civilian population and its freedom of movement in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, SMM deputy chief Alexander Hug said that current hostilities are taking place in several areas, or hotspots that are Shyrokyne, the area around Donetsk Airport and the village of Horlivka.
