Minsk agreements - best option for settlement in East Ukraine, sides responsible for implementation - NATO head
ANTALYA. May 13 (Interfax) - NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said that the full implementation of the Minsk agreements is the optimal solution to the situation in Eastern Ukraine.
The Minsk agreements are the best option of settling the situation in Eastern Ukraine, he said at a press conference following a session of the Ukraine-NATO Commission in Antalya, Turkey, on Wednesday. They must be fully implemented and this includes the ceasefire and the withdrawal of heavy armaments from the line and the status of Donbas and honest elections in the region, he said.
