Lavrov plans to meet with Mogherini on sidelines of Council of Europe Committee of Ministers session - source
MOSCOW. May 16 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is expected to meet with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and European Commission Vice-President Federica Mogherini on the sidelines of an upcoming session of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers, a Russian Foreign Ministry source said.
"Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov's meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini is planned on the sidelines of a Council of Europe Committee of Ministers session," the source said.
The Russian Foreign Ministry reported earlier that Lavrov would take part in the 125th ministerial session of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers in Brussels on May 18-19.
During the session, Lavrov will meet with Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjorn Jagland and foreign ministers of some countries, it said.
