Moscow doesn't expect deal to be reached soon on IAEA inspections at Iran's Parchin facility - diplomat
MOSCOW. May 16 (Interfax) - It is unlikely that an agreement will be concluded in the near future on providing International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors with access to Iran's Parchin military facility, says Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.
"I don't expect that an agreement on this particular problem will be achieved within the next few days. This is an element of a broader set of problems, and these problems are so complex that they would take more time to be settled," Ryabkov told Interfax in commenting on outcomes of his participation in a meeting of the political directors of the P5+1 and Iran in Vienna.
"No decision has been made on this particular issue. It is not because this problem remains beyond our vision or has dropped out of our discussion but because this is one of the many issues concerning a broader objective of reaching an agreement on parameters of access to various facilities and various sources of information within the framework of the implementation of a future agreement," Ryabkov said.
