TransFinGroup lowers stake in TransContainer to 4.57%
MOSCOW. May 22 (Interfax) - CJSC TransFinGroup, which manages the pension reserves of non-state pension fund Blagosostoyanie, has lowered its stake in OJSC TransContainer to 4.57%, the railway operator said.
The company's stake was lowered at the end of April, but TransContainer was informed about this on Friday. TransFinGroup previously owned 7.32% of shares.
Conversely, Blagosostoyanie has been gradually increasing its stake in TransContainer over the last few years through free float. A year ago TransFinGroup owned 11.17%. The fund initially became a TransContainer shareholder in late 2010 when Russian Railways (RZD) sold 35% minus 2 shares on the exchange. The fund acquired 5.05% of shares at the time.
