Self-proclaimed Luhansk republic expects Contact Group meeting to be held June 2 as planned

MOSCOW. May 28 (Interfax) - Vladyslav Deineho, the self-proclaimed Luhansk people's republic (LPR) envoy for the Minsk talks, is ready to go to Minsk to take part in the Trilateral Contact Group's meeting on June 2.

"I've received confirmation for [June] 2, and I plan to go to Minsk to take part in the meeting on June 2. This date could have been postponed only by OSCE Special Representative Heidi Tagliavini, and she hasn't given me such information," Deineho told Interfax.

A number of media outlets had reported earlier with reference to former Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma that the Trilateral Contact Group's meeting was scheduled for June 4.
