Belarusian president leaves for Pakistan
MINSK. May 28 (Interfax) - Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko is paying a two-day visit to Pakistan.
On Thursday, Lukashenko arrived in Islamabad, where Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif met him, the state agency BelTA has reported.
According to the schedule of the visit, the Belarusian president will have official negotiations with Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain on Thursday. On Friday, he is expected to have negotiations with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and to sign a number of bilateral documents.
Lukashenko's visit to Pakistan was previously planned for May 26-27, but it was postponed by two days due to the president's mother's death.
