Sechin again to head Inter RAO board of directors

MOSCOW. May 29 (Interfax) - Rosneft President Igor Sechin was again elected as chairman of the board of directors of Inter RAO .

A relevant decision was made by the newly elected board of directors at its first meeting. His deputy on the board will be the company's deputy CEO, Dmitry Shugayev.

Sechin was also the head of the previous board. He chaired the board in 2008-2011, when he was deputy prime minister, but was forced to leave this position in the framework of a program to exclude federal officials from the boards of state companies. In 2013, when he changed his place of work, Sechin became the president of Rosneft and was again elected as chairman of the board.

In addition, the board of directors named five independent directors: CJSC Leader head Anatoly Gavrilenko, GE in Russia President Roland James Pollett, Rosatom First Deputy CEO Alexander Lokshin, Dmitry Shugayev and the rector of the National Research University Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI), Nikolai Rogalyov.
