Rosselkhoznadzor returns more than 58 tonnes of cheese without documents to Kazakhstan

MOSCOW. June 1 (Interfax) - Rosselkhoznadzor did not allow the import into Russia of 58.5 tonnes of cheese from Kazakhstan, which was shipped without veterinary certificates, the service said.

The supplier also did not present a preliminary notice about the issue of veterinary certificates, which also is a violation of the laws and regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union. Violators were held administratively responsible.

The consignment, which arrived in three automobiles from the Karaganda region, was stopped at one of the checkpoints in the Chelyabinsk region.
