DPR observes almost 40 truce violations by Ukrainian army
DONETSK. June 2 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian army committed 37 violations of the ceasefire regime in the past 24 hours, the Defense Ministry of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has said.
"Thirty-seven violations have been observed. On that day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces shelled Sakhanka, Hryhorivka, Shyrokyne, Spartak and Zhabunky. They also fired on Horlivka and Donetsk, the Kyivskyi district, the city airport and the Oktyabrskyi neighborhood," the Donetsk news agency has quoted the ministry as saying.
The army was using mortars, tanks, armored vehicles, air defense launchers and small arms, the ministry reported.
"Information about militia and civilian casualties is being verified," it said.
