Ukraine hopes to complete talks with creditors before allocation of second IMF tranche
KYIV. June 2 (Interfax) - Ukraine's Finance Minister Natalya Yaresko has expressed hope for successful completion of talks with creditors over the restructuring of the Ukrainian debt before the International Monetary Fund (IMF) decides on allocation of a second tranche of its loan to Kyiv.
"We will get there, everything will be alright. We will be able to complete the talks over the first review before the second tranche," she said during a lecture at the National Bank of Ukraine's University of Banking on Tuesday.
Among the as yet unfulfilled measures is the passage of bills that the Verkhovna Rada will, hopefully, pass this week, Yaresko said.
She also said that the second IMF tranche will amount to $1.7 billion.
