DPR militia claims over 40 truce violations by Ukrainian army

DONETSK. June 5 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian army committed 46 violations of truce in the past day, the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) has alleged.

According to the DPR Defense Ministry, the attacks have been conducted by use of Grad rocket launchers, artillery, mortars, tanks, grenade launchers and small arms. "The [attacked] populated localities are Kuibyshevskyi, Kyivskyi and Kirovskyi districts, Shyrokyne, Spartak, the airport area, Opytne, Yasne, Kalynivka, Dzerzhinsk, Mykhailivka, Nova Marivka, Dokuchayevsk, Rozdilne, Hryhorivka, Telmanove, Styla, Michurine, Oktyabrskyi and Staromykhailivka. Information about casualties is being verified," a ministry representative told Interfax.

He also said that OSCE monitors and representatives of the DPR Defense Ministry led by senior official Eduard Basurin will visit the site of a shooting incident and the death of a child in Telmanove that was bombed on Thursday evening.
