Kyiv police chief dismissed under lustration law
KYIV. June 5 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk has announced that Kyiv's police chief Oleksandr Tereshchuk was dismissed on Friday under the country's 'lustration' law.
"The Kyiv police chief, who fell under the lustration law, was dismissed today," Yatsenyuk said in the Verkhovna Rada.
"Civil service personnel are inspected and reshuffled on a daily basis," the prime minister said.
