Seven Ukrainian soldiers killed in mine explosion near Krasnohorivka, Donbas - media

KYIV. June 8 (Interfax) - Seven Ukrainian military service members have been killed near Krasnohorivka in Ukraine's Donetsk region after the vehicle in which they travelled hit an anti-tank mine, said Yevhen Silkin, a spokesman for Sector B in the special-operation headquarters.

"A vehicle of an engineering unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which was carrying ammunition to the Ukrainian army positions, blew up after hitting an anti-tank mine near the populated area of Krasnohorivka at 2 p.m. today. Seven military service members, including six mobilized ones and one contractor, died at the scene," Silkin told Channel 5.
