Russia revises schedule for flights to Intl Space Station - agency

MOSCOW. June 9 (Interfax-AVN) - A Russian state commission has approved a revised schedule for flights to the International Space Station for the rest of 2015, Russia's Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) said on Tuesday.

The Progress M-28M resupply spacecraft is due to be launched on July 3.

The Soyuz TMA-17M piloted craft would take off between July 23 and July 25, Roscosmos said in a statement make available to Interfax-AVN, explaining that "the date will be set later due to the adjustment of the ISS orbit on June 8."

Another piloted vehicle, Soyuz TMA-18M, would set off on September 1. The Progress M-29M resupply craft would go to orbit on September 21.

The first launch of a modernized Progress-MS resupply craft is scheduled for November 21, and the Soyuz TMA-19M piloted craft is due to lift off on December 15.

The reason for revising the schedule was the abortive mission of the Progress M-27 resupply craft, which lifted off on April 28.
