Lukoil remains optimistic about company development, level of dividends
MOSCOW. June 10 (Interfax) - Lukoil is optimistic about the development of the company, Lukoil Vice President Leonid Fedun said during a conference call.
"Lukoil remains optimistic about the development of the company and the level of dividends," he said, noting that for 2014, the company will pay the highest dividends in its history.
"For the size of dividends in 2016 [for the results of 2015], we remain optimistic due to the fact that our forecasts for oil prices are, although conservative, realistic," he said.
The board of directors of Lukoil has recommended that shareholders vote for dividends payments in the amount of 154 rubles per share for 2014 with account of the already paid 60 rubles a share for the 9M 2014.
Dividends in total for 2013 amounted to 110 rubles per share. So the growth of the company's dividends in ruble terms will be 40%.
