P+1, Iran continue drafting final nuclear deal in Vienna
MOSCOW. June 13 (Interfax) - Another round of talks over the situation around the Iranian nuclear program was held between the political directors of the six international negotiators (the United Kingdom, China, France, Russia, the United States plus Germany), which also involved the European Union, and Iran in Vienna last Friday.
"Efforts continued to draft a comprehensive agreement on settlement of the situation around the Iranian nuclear program," the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement posted on its website on Saturday.
Russia was represented at these events by its Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov. Ryabkov met with his Iranian counterparts Abbas Arakchi and Majid Taht-Ravanchi, as well as the political director of the European External Action Service (EAS), Helga Schmid, on the sidelines of the round.
