Russian aircraft companies ready to partner with foreign manufacturers - deputy minister

LE BOURGET (France), June 15 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian aircraft industry is ready to partner with European majors in a number of projects, Russian Deputy Industry and Trade Minister Andrei Boginsky told reporters on Monday.

"Some Russian companies, for instance, United Engine Corporation, are ready to partner with foreign manufacturers," Boginsky said at the Paris Air Show.

The issue is due to be discussed at the Russian Hour in Le Bourget on Tuesday. "Over 70 Russian and foreign participants have been accredited to attend this event," he said.

Russian industrial facilities have undergone significant modernization in recent years, the deputy minister added.
