Lavrov to discuss implementation of P5+1-Iran with IAEA director general Thursday

MOSCOW. June 17 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov is expected to hold a bilateral meeting with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Yukiya Amano on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) on June 18.

"A meeting between IAEA Director General Amano and Foreign Minister Lavrov is expected within the SPIEF framework on Thursday. They will discuss IAEA's involvement in the implementation of a comprehensive agreement, if such is reached between P5+1 and Iran, which is likely to happen soon," Vladimir Voronkov, Russia's special representative at international organizations in Vienna, told Interfax on Wednesday.
