Luhansk authorities say militia's Grad fire on Popasna, injure Ukrainian soldier

KYIV. June 19 (Interfax) - The militia's Grad rocket launcher shelled Popasna in the Luhansk region on Thursday, heavily injuring a National Guard serviceman and damaging two residential buildings, the Luhansk region authorities have said.

"A Grad rocket launcher fired 20 shots on the town of Popasna at 4:30 a.m. on June 18 from the LPR-controlled town of Kalynove. A two-storey building and a five-storey one on Mironovska Street were directly hit by rockets and damaged," the Luhansk region military-civilian administration wrote on Facebook.

A National Guard serviceman providing public order in the town was heavily wounded in the attack.
