Seizures of Russian diplomatic accounts in Belgium contravene Vienna conventions - Lavrov

ST. PETERSBURG. June 19 (Interfax) - The seizures of Russian diplomatic missions' accounts in Belgium contravene all conventions on diplomatic relations, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.

"It is illegitimate to seize assets. The accounts of our embassy in Belgium, our representative office at the EU and our representative office at NATO have been seized. It is a gross violation of all Vienna conventions on diplomatic relations," Lavrov told reporters on Friday.
